Try it for yourself.&#8221; (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/BvxeQVUJgRb\/\">Photo<\/a>: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/matteog\/\">@matteog<\/a>\/<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\">Instagram<\/a>)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Twenty-nine-year-old actor Matteo Guidicelli shares his thoughts on social media last Tuesday, May 7, reacting to receiving a traffic ticket via mail from the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) for violating the yellow-lane rule. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Filipino-Italian explains to his 1.7 million followers that he applauded the MMDA\u2019s no-contact apprehension policy, which uses CCTV cameras to capture violators. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In Matteo\u2019s words, \u201c<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">So today I got a mail from the MMDA. I opened it up, and guess what I saw. It\u2019s kind of my driver\u2019s fault, but I\u2019m very impressed that I got a ticket right here from the MMDA because my van crossed the yellow line into the bus lane.\u201d He elaborates, \u201c<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I&#8217;m very, very impressed that the MMDA has this and everything is going digital, and people can actually get caught and sent their ticket at home. So this is really cool,\u201d adding, \u201cCongratulations to the MMDA. This is really awesome.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The karting racer also adds that to relieve himself of the violation, he must pay P650.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">According to data from the MMDA concluded last December 2018, a total of 289,154 yellow lane violators were caught because of the government organization\u2019s No-Contact Apprehension Policy, causing the largest percentage of issued tickets from the total of 539,022 in the entire year. After the yellow-lane policy, the other leading violations included loading and unloading in prohibited zones and disregarding traffic signs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In the meantime, days prior to the MMDA post, Matteo, who recently enlisted for the Philippine Army last April 15, shares his most recent \u201chumbling experience\u201d visiting the troops in Davao Oriental.
