Thirty-five-year-old Kapamilya actor John Lloyd Cruz, who has been rarely seen since taking a hiatus from show business two years ago, decides to make a fan\u2019s 90th birthday extra special by making an appearance in her celebration in Grand Convention Center, Cebu last Friday, April 5.<\/span><\/p>\n

A video has circulated of John Lloyd sitting next to Vicenta Araneta, the celebrant, whose granddaughter Shing Pacana only asked for a video greeting from the actor. She shares to PEP.ph, \u201cWe just requested for a video greeting from John Lloyd. Then minutes after my grandma’s thank you message to her guests, John Lloyd surprised her. He arrived and went straight and sat down with our lola.\u201d Shing adds in Filipino, \u201c[My grandma] was very happy. She was the happiest that night. She is a big fan of John Lloyd ever since,\u201d laughing, \u201cHer DVDs are complete of all John Lloyd\u2019s movies!\u201d Shing also elaborates that she is the cousin of Kim Araneta-Adarna, the sister-in-law of John Lloyd\u2019s partner, Ellen Adarna. Ellen is based in Cebu when her brother convinced the <\/span>One More Chance<\/span><\/i> star to pay the 90th birthday celebrant a visit.<\/span><\/p>\n

The next day, another one of Vicenta\u2019s grandchildren, Zeus Alemania, shared more videos of the two interacting and described more about the special event. In his words, \u201cTo be celebrating 9 decades is indeed an amazing milestone. Last night, we celebrated the 90th birthday of our beloved grandmother Lola Vicenta Araneta. It was very special for all of us because we were complete as a family,\u201d adding, \u201cBut what made it more special was the fact that she was greeted in person with no less than her all-time favorite John Lloyd Cruz.\u201d He exclaims, \u201c Nothing compares to the happiness we saw on her face, she was so <\/span>kilig<\/span><\/i>!
