It\u2019s a very small scene,\u201d he states, \u201cDitching a small gig for a bigger one is very unprofessional and makes you look really cheap.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In a reply to the post, the hitmaker elaborates, \u201cI gave up the opportunity of touring the United States and the United Kingdom and recording with [American rock band] Wheatus in 2005 to come home and do one Southeast Asian (SEA) Games gig. Yes, it was painfully hard to fathom and accept, but I did it anyway. I have not yet flaked on a single gig\/guesting twenty-six years and counting.\u201d In conclusion, Rico exclaims, \u201cIt\u2019s about principles.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The artist received a lot of positive feedback on his opinion, one follower stating, \u201cExactly. Word of honor is very important. It reflects on one\u2019s professionalism,\u201d while another shares, \u201cThis is why [Rico] has been my idol ever since. He knows how to value things. He\u2019s so supportive, even to new faces in the singing industry,\u201d adding, \u201cKeep it up, idol! I agree with you.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Hailing from San Pedro, Laguna, Rico, who is also known as \u201cThe Music Genuis,\u201d began to make a name for himself in the local music industry as the vocalist, keyboardist, guitarist, and main songwriter for Filipino rock band Rivermaya in 1994.
