Ramon Revilla Jr. \u00a0and his senior aide.<\/p>\n<p>The 90-day suspension order was directed by\u00a0<span style=\"color: #000000;\">Sandiganbayan First Division chairman, Justice Efren de la Cruz and Associate Justices Rodolfo Ponferrada and Rafael Lagos to Senate\u00a0President Franklin Drilon for implementation.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Revilla&#8217;s former chief of staff Richard Cambe was also covered by the suspension order.<\/p>\n<p>Government lawyers, meanwhile, supported the order citing the\u00a0<span style=\"color: #000000;\">Republic Act 7080 or the Plunder Law.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u201cAny public officer against whom any criminal prosecution under a valid information under this act, whatever stage of execution and mode of participation is pending in court, shall be suspended from office,\u201d government lawyers said, as quoted in a Philippine Star report.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, a similar suspension order \u00a0was issued against Sen. Jinggoy Estrada last July 18, by the court&#8217;s\u00a0<span style=\"color: #000000;\">Fifth Division chaired by Associate Justice Roland Jurado.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Sen.
