This is for you &#x1f1f5;&#x1f1ed;! #TWBTNTBOYS #WorldsBest&#8221; (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/BuaIBiNgGrs\/\">Photo<\/a>: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/thetntboys\/\">@thetntboys<\/a>\/<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\">Instagram<\/a>)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Filipino boy group TNT Boys, also known as \u2018The Big Shot Trio,\u2019 comprised of Keifer Sanchez, Mackie Empuerto, and Francis Concepcion, officially bow out of American talent competition \u201cThe World\u2019s Best\u201d after failing to make it to the finals.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In the most recent episode aired live last Wednesday, March 6, the TNT Boys faced acapella group Naturally 7 and Vonnie Lopez &amp; The High Praise Choir for the group music championships, performing their rendition of \u201cFlashlight\u201d by British singer Jessie J for judges actress Drew Barrymore, singer Faith Hill, and RuPaul Charles.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As a response to their performance, Barrymore told the boys, \u201cThere is no flaw in one note. When you have a show called \u2018World\u2019s Best\u2019 that\u2019s a very high bar to set, and you guys just reach it every time, if not surpass it.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Yet, unfortunately, the young singers received an average of only 49 points from both the panel of judges and the 50 experts of \u2018wall of the world\u2019, placing them eight points behind Naturally 7, who performed \u201cFix You\u201d by Coldplay. Naturally 7 took home $50,000 for winning the top spot in their division and will face the show\u2019s other competitors during the championship next week.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As they exited, host James Corden reminded the young Filipino singers of the TNT Boys, \u201cevery single person who has watched you perform on this show, you have moved them and changed them and this is the start of an incredible journey.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Soon after the episode aired, \u201cThe World\u2019s Best\u201d posted on their social media an opportunity for viewers to vote for their \u2018fan favorite,\u2019 or their \u201cfavorite act of the night,\u201d which some netizens are speculating is another chance for the boys to be a wildcard pick into the finals<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Besides \u2018The World\u2019s Best,\u2019 the TNT Boys have made a name for themselves in the entertainment industry through Philippine show \u201cYour Face Sounds Familiar,\u201d where they impersonated artists like Destiny\u2019s Child, The Bee Gees, and The Supremes.
