(<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/2019kpopfcm\/photos\/p.946364692236928\/946364692236928\/?type=1&amp;theater\">Photo<\/a>: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/2019kpopfcm\/?tn-str=k*F\">2019 K-Pop Friendship Concert in Manila<\/a>\/<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\">Facebook<\/a>)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To celebrate the 70 years of diplomatic ties between the Philippines and South Korea, artists from the Philippine and Korean entertainment industries will take center stage at the SM Mall of Asia Arena on Thursday, March 7 for the \u20182019 K-Pop Friendship Concert.\u2019<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In the words of the ambassador of the Republic of Korea to the Philippines, Han Dong-man, about the event, \u201cThroughout this milestone year in Korea-Philippine relations, I aim to intensify the promotion of Korean culture in this country. As well, I intend to promote the Philippines and its culture among Koreans living here and in Korea. Hence, when we host cultural events in the Philippines, we strive to infuse them with Filipino elements or closely collaborate with local partners.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This celebration, which is presented by Korea\u2019s Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, will welcome boy groups <em>NCT Dream<\/em> and <em>Noir<\/em>, while six-member group <em>April<\/em> will be visiting the Philippines for the first time as well. <em>NCT<\/em> is a band from SM entertainment, known for hits \u201cChewing Gum,\u201d \u201cMy First and Last,\u201d and \u201cWe Go Up.\u201d On the other hand, <em>April<\/em> is most noted for their Female Rookie of the Year recognition during the 2016 Korean Entertainment Arts Award.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As for the Filipino side of the lineup, <em>Silent Sanctuary<\/em> is ready to serenade the crowd, while trio <em>VinSuriChan<\/em>, composed of Vince Igno, Dasuri Choi, and Phoi Chan, plans to amaze the audience with their dancing. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The event\u2019s hosts are ABS-CBN I Do Grand Winner Kring Kim and It\u2019s Showtime host Ryan Bang.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For those who are interested in the event, the organizers have officially announced that entrance is free and open to the public.
