It was a four-set victory for the F2 Logistics over the United Volleyball Club (VC) as the Cargo Movers saw the return of their import Lindsay Stalzer during the 2019 Philippine Superliga (PSL) match last Tuesday, February 26 at the Filoil Flying V Arena in San Juan.<\/span><\/p>\n

Stalzer was missing in action for the team\u2019s first two games of the season due to prior commitments in Thailand, but redeemed herself for her team by scoring a total of 30 points, which includes 25 spikes and five blocks. Becky Perry, an import for the team as well, contributed a total of 16 hits. For United VC, Kalei Mau, Yaasmeen Bedart and Tai Manu-Olevao fought hard with 22 points, 18 points, and 14 points respectively. <\/span><\/p>\n

Coach Ramil De Jesus said that it\u2019s \u201cbecause of Stalzer that [F2] was able to redeem themselves,\u201d stating in Filipino, \u201cThe team had a slow start. United is a super strong team. They\u2019re big, they move fast. They\u2019re not an easy opponent. Our team made me happy, they\u2019re ready to adjust.\u201d \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The American import, who had just arrived last weekend to play in the PSL added that she had \u201clittle amount of time to mesh and jell with [her] teammates, but already felt supported and felt the great energy from the team,\u201d adding, \u201cI feel really good with them and I think we\u2019re going to do big things this year.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n

Agreeing to that, Coach Ramil chipped, \u201cStalzer practiced with us only twice, but she\u2019s a great leader on the court. We\u2019re going to need more from her as the season progresses.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

This is the team\u2019s third win, aiming for their fourth as they face Foton on Thursday, February 28. As for UVC who just absorbed their second loss, they will try to redeem themselves against Cignal on the same day.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
