Your beauty and intelligence shine so bright!&#8221; (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/BuRa4ZDnE4h\/\">Photo<\/a>: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/mediaramacreatives\/\">@mediaramacreatives<\/a>\/<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\">Instagram<\/a>)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The grand finale of <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It\u2019s Showtime<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u2019s 2019 \u201cMiss Q&amp;A\u201d talent competition, honoring those from the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) community, has concluded last Saturday, February 23 crowning Mitch Montecarlo Suansane the overall winner. The coronation was entitled \u201cThe Final Chukchak\u2026 Vaklang Twooo!\u201d and was held at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Winning the top spot, Mitch was crowned by her predecessor Juliana Parizoova Segovia, who was the show\u2019s first ever-winner. She bested out nine other finalists, with hall of famer Czedy Rodriguez receiving first runner-up and Chad Kinis Lustre-Reid winning second runner-up.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For her final question, the advocate for the LGBT community was asked in Filipino, \u201cWhat is preventing the society from acceptance of your sexuality?\u201d of which Mitch was quick to answer, \u201cPerhaps one of the reasons why our gender is prevented is because we live in a Catholic society, because we grew up believing that in the Bible there are no gays, but just men and women. Maybe that is what stuck to our thoughts, which is why it\u2019s harder to accept us gays. However, if you give it time, or you give it a chance to accept us, you would realize that we gays are also superior,\u201d adding, \u201cThat is why there should be no discrimination, there shouldn\u2019t be anyone who doesn\u2019t accept, because we are equally made by God.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The panel of judges for the event included Nicole Cordoves, Charo Santos-Concio, James Reid, Nadine Lustre, Maymay Entrata, and Boy Abunda. For her win, Mitch received a brand new crown, a brand new throne, and a brand new sash, along with two million pesos, a car, and a trip to Korea for two.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The beginning of the ceremony was also highlighted by host Vice Ganda, who arrived in a bright yellow gown that said, \u201cYou don\u2019t gain anything from hating us,\u201d relating with the gay community present among the audience.
