Manitoba has invited another 338 Skilled Workers Overseas candidates in the province\u2019s second draw through the popular stream in six days.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

An unspecified number of Express Entry candidates were among the\u00a0Skilled Workers Overseas<\/a>\u00a0candidates invited in the February 21 draw, which brought the number of invitations issued by the\u00a0Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program<\/a>(MPNP) so far this year to 1,864.<\/p>\n

Canada\u2019s\u00a0Express Entry system<\/a>\u00a0manages the pool of candidates for three of the country\u2019s main economic immigration programs \u2014 the\u00a0Federal Skilled Worker Class<\/a>,\u00a0Federal Skilled Trades Class<\/a>\u00a0and the\u00a0Canadian Experience Class<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Express Entry candidates with a provincial nomination receive an additional 600 points toward their\u00a0Comprehensive Ranking System<\/a>\u00a0(CRS) score.<\/p>\n

In order to be considered for a provincial nomination from Manitoba, Express Entry candidates must register a separate\u00a0Expression of Interest (EOI) profile<\/a>\u00a0with the MPNP, which is then scored based on the province\u2019s\u00a0unique points grid<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The MPNP said Express Entry candidates invited in the February 21 draw had a minimum score of 566 on this grid and were required to have:<\/p>\n
