He just doesn\u2019t want to eat,\u201d then shared in Filipino, \u201cTuesday, he will be released. It\u2019s okay. He said it still hurts a bit. Usually, that is the procedure, then, he can go out but last year, we experienced his surgery hurting after, for six hours, it really hurts without anesthesia.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">He added, \u201cI\u2019m already anticipating it, I told him to allow himself to stay in the hospital for one or two days so that he may get a pain reliever readily.\u201d When talking about his son\u2019s return to basketball, even as an audience member, Coach Louie reported, \u201c[My son] said he still doesn\u2019t want to. Maybe when he\u2019s starting to go through therapy after two weeks or when he\u2019s going through rehab. He said he doesn\u2019t want to talk about basketball,\u201d but concluded, \u201cYet, I think he still watched the game from the hospital,\u201d referring to his son supporting the Phoenix Pulse as they defeated Rain or Shine during an overtime match last Sunday, February 10.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The 27-year-old guard tore his knee in the same spot he did last March 2018 which forced him to sit out for the rest of the season. Alas only played five games so far in the 2019 Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) Philippine Cup, but is on indefinite leave after his injury returned last February 2 during a game against Meralco at the Ynares Center in Antipolo. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Kevin\u2019s team currently has two wins and four losses in the 2019 PBA Philippine Cup. During NLEX\u2019s most recent game, the Road Warriors wore patches that said \u2018Kevin strong\u2019 in honor of their teammate. His coach, Yeng Guiao, shared, \u201cWe are all saddened, we are all devastated by what happened.
