(<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/konotarogomame\/status\/1094401413386366976\">File Photo<\/a>: <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/konotarogomame\/\">@konotarogomame\/Twitter<\/a>)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>MANILA &#8212; Japanese Foreign Minister Taro Kono has expressed desire for the Japanese government to continue its support for the development of Mindanao, Malaca\u00f1ang said on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>Kono made this commitment upon meeting President Rodrigo R. Duterte in a courtesy call on Saturday (February 9) at Matina Enclaves, Davao City.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cForeign Minister Kono, for his part, said Japan welcomes the ratification of the Bangsamoro Organic Law.
