Photo by \ubc15\uc7ac\ud658 \/ kinocine.com \/ Wikimedia Commons.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>HONG KONG\u2014\u201cLust, Caution\u201d star Tang Wei found legendary director Ingmar Bergman\u2019s island home to be the perfect scene for a wedding.<\/p>\n<p>The Chinese actress and South Korean director Kim Tae-yong wed in a small ceremony July 12 at Bergman\u2019s home on the Swedish island of Faro.<\/p>\n<p>The couple had announced their engagement earlier this month. Tang\u2019s management sent out a statement on Thursday night saying the couple visited the Bergman home to pay their respects to the late film director and the wedding was a spur-of-the-moment decision.<\/p>\n<p>At a public appearance in Shanghai on Tuesday, Tang was asked about her engagement and replied that when a woman comes across a \u201clife-changing opportunity,\u201d she shouldn\u2019t let it pass her by.<\/p>\n<p>Tang and Kim met on the set of his romance drama \u201cLate Autumn\u201d in 2010.<\/p>\n<p>She received rave reviews for her big-screen debut in Ang Lee\u2019s 2007 spy thriller, but the politically sensitive role of a traitor reportedly landed her on Chinese film officials\u2019 blacklist for three years. Her other films include \u201cCrossing Hennessy,\u201d \u201cWu Xia\u201d and \u201cFinding Mr. Right.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She will be making her Hollywood debut in director Michael Mann\u2019s new thriller \u201cCyber\u201d in 2015.<\/p>\n<p>Kim made his directorial debut with the coming-of-age film \u201cFree to Fly\u201d in 1997. His other writing and directing credits include \u201cMemento Mori\u201d and \u201cFamily Ties.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>This is the first marriage for Tang and second for Kim.<\/p>\n<p>Faro was Bergman\u2019s home for decades and the setting of some of his best films.
