This brought the year\u2019s average to 5.2 percent.<\/p>\n<p>Monetary officials project inflation to ease this year and return to the target band of 2 to four percent.<\/p>\n<p>BSP forecasts inflation to average at 3.2 percent this year and 3 percent in 2020.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>MANILA\u00a0&#8212; Higher oil prices is seen to push January 2019 inflation between 4.3 to 5.1 percent.
