In the photo uploaded by a certain BJ Carreon on Facebook last Wednesday, January 16, the little girl was seen squatting on the ground outside the mall, who looked like she had her jumper down, apparently defecating or pissing. Netizens were up in arms again on Friday, January 18, over a viral photo showing an alleged Chinese tourist letting her daughter defecate or pee in the premises of SM Mall of Asia (MOA) in Pasay City.<\/p>\n

In the photo uploaded by a certain BJ Carreon on Facebook last Wednesday, January 16, the little girl was seen squatting on the ground outside the mall who looked like she had her jumper down, apparently defecating or pissing. Her mother, meanwhile, was just standing behind her waiting for her to finish.<\/p>\n

“‘Yung kadugyutan ng ibang mga <\/i>Chinese tourists (they were in a tour group I think and nagsisigawan sila ng mga kasama niya<\/i> in their language) dito sa<\/i> MOA Seaside (The filthiness of some Chinese tourists (they were in a tour group I think and they were shouting with their companions in their language) here in MOA Seaside)… Haaay,” <\/i>Carreon wrote in his caption.<\/p>\n

The netizen said there were guards in the area, but they did not scold the tourists, making him more annoyed about the situation.<\/p>\n

“Kung hindi ko lang akay-akay ang lola ko, ako na mismo lalapit para pagsabihan sila <\/i>(If I was not assisting my grandmother, I myself will approach and scold them),”<\/i> he said.<\/p>\n

“At sa ibang mga Pinoy na dugyot din, ano pakiramdam ‘pag ibang lahi na ang nagkakalat sa sarili nating bakuran <\/i>(And to other filthy Filipinos, what is the feeling of seeing foreigners tarnishing our own land)?”<\/i> he added.<\/p>\n

With the photo now garnering 5.3 thousand shares and three thousand comments as of writing, many netizens were also angered by the mother’s ‘inappropriate’ actions while in a foreign land.<\/p>\n

Facebook user Glezial Dg shared in the comment section of Carreon’s post her experience with Chinese people in a restobar where she was working.<\/p>\n

“Nako dame namin naging <\/i>customer sa <\/i>restobar ‘pag nalalasing mga ‘yan dumudura na lang sa<\/i> table o kung san nila dumura. Grabe kadugyot talaga mga ‘yan. Kahit sa<\/i> plate pa nga eh <\/i>(We have a lot of customers,\u00a0 when drunk, just spit on a table or anywhere else. They are very filthy. They spit even on plates),” <\/i>she said.<\/p>\n

Since the uploader just covered the kid’s private area with a sticker, some netizens claimed that the little girl was pooping, while others defended her, saying she was only pissing.<\/p>\n

“Ihing-ihi lang ung bata isyung gusto ng palakihin..hay naku eto talaga kadalasan ang problema ng may<\/i> cam ang cp at utak na makikitid <\/i>(The kid just needs to pee, but they are making\u00a0 <\/span>a mountain out of a molehill. This is mostly the problem of those who have mobile phones with cameras and a narrow brain),” <\/i>netizen Mark Christopher Buzard Javier said.<\/p>\n

Several netizens, however, said the big deal was not on whether the kid was defecating or pissing in an open area; the problem was the tourists did such act in a wrong place.<\/p>\n

Netizen Jerald Alfeche Dela Luz said, “Eh kung ako kaya ihing ihi na at iihi sa harap ng bahay nyo magustuhan nyo ba <\/i>(What if I am the one who badly needs to pee and I will pee in front of your house, would you want that)?”<\/i><\/p>\n

“There are ways to prevent things like this to happen like lagyan nyo ng<\/i> diapers ang bata <\/i>or turuan nyong mangihi sa tamang lugar <\/i>(Put on a diaper on your child or teach them where to properly pee),”<\/i> he added.<\/p>\n

He continued, “No exception ang kadugyutan <\/i>whether it be a kid, teenager, or adult. ‘Pag dugyot, dugyot talaga! Sa mga magsasabing <\/i>okay lang ‘to<\/i>, no question at all, ang dudugyot niyo rin <\/i>(There is no exception on being filthy whether it be a kid, teenager, or adult. If one is filthy, then they are really filthy! To those who say that this is okay, no question at all, you are also filthy)!”<\/i><\/p>\n

As of writing, SM MOA has not yet issued a statement regarding the matter.<\/p>\n

This was not the first time that Chinese tourists caught the attention of netizens.<\/p>\n

In November 2018, a Facebook post by INQUIRER.net<\/span> showed a group of Chinese tourists, wearing identical shirts with Chinese words imprinted on it which means they “want to have memory in [the]\u00a0South China Sea.”<\/p>\n

The media outlet said a Singaporean journalist, who knows how to speak Chinese, spotted the tourists at the same Pasay mall.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
