Ha?” after he hanged his son at the window of their house in Sta. Rosa, Laguna.

When the child did not respond, the father slapped his son’s face, making the boy cry. In the latter part of the video, the father was seen continuously hitting his child’s face and punching him on different parts of his body as he asked the same question to his son.

According to a report by INQUIRER.net, Superintendent Eugene Orate, chief of Sta. Rosa police said the father was already arrested at around 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, December 27, and is now under the custody of the Sta. Rosa Police Station.

Citing their investigation, Orate revealed that the incident took place last December 18, but the man only sent the video to his wife’s social media account on December 25.

He said the man was forcing his wife to go home after they apparently had a misunderstanding that led her to go back to her home in Iloilo on December 13.

Orate said the father will undergo a drug test and will be slapped with charges for violating the child abuse law.

The report also said the police brought the child, who sustained bruises from his father’s violence to the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) and will undergo a medical examination.

As of writing, the video has already 2.1 million views and 250,566 shares.
