(<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/RolandoNonoyAndayaJr\/photos\/a.486364665111489.1073741830.485276371886985\/540082079739747\/?type=3&amp;amp;theater\">File photo<\/a>:<br \/><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/RolandoNonoyAndayaJr\/\">Rolando &#8220;Nonoy&#8221; Andaya Jr\/Facebook<\/a>)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>MANILA<\/strong>\u00a0&#8212; House of Representatives Majority Leader Rolando Andaya Jr. on Friday defended the PHP2.4-billion allocation for Speaker Gloria Macapagal Arroyo&#8217;s district, saying 99 more representatives enjoy bigger shares of congressional insertions in the proposed 2019 national budget.<\/p>\n<p>In a press conference, Andaya said Arroyo&#8217;s district only placed 100th in terms of allocations, while his district ranked 186th.<\/p>\n<p>He revealed that the biggest allocation for a congressman&#8217;s district was PHP8 billion under the General Appropriations Bill for next year. He, however, did not divulge the lawmaker&#8217;s name or the district.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Just to clarify\u00a0<em>ang<\/em>\u00a0allocation\u00a0<em>ng ating<\/em>\u00a0speaker, she\u2019s (Arroyo) actually ranked about 100. Around 99 congressmen\u00a0<em>na mas malaki po ang<\/em>allocation\u00a0<em>sa kanilang distrito<\/em>\u00a0(who have bigger allocations for their districts).\u00a0<em>Ang sa akin naman po<\/em>\u00a0(In my case), I am ranked 186th\u00a0<em>sa<\/em>allocation\u00a0<em>sa mga distrito<\/em>\u00a0(in allocation among the districts),&#8221; Andaya said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;<em>Kung titingnan po natin ang probinsya ng Pampanga, yung kay<\/em>\u00a0Speaker\u00a0<em>hindi pa rin po sa kanya malaking<\/em>\u00a0allocation.\u00a0<em>May mas malaking<\/em>allocation\u00a0<em>sa distrito sa kanya at doon naman sa akin sa Camarines Sur, ako po ang pinakamaliit na<\/em>\u00a0allocation\u00a0<em>sa aming pong probinsya<\/em>\u00a0(If we would look at the province of Pampanga, the allocation for the Speaker is not big.
