Filipino broadway star Rachelle Ann Go makes her mark in the Broadway industry for the Philippines as she is hailed Best Actress in the 2018 BroadwayWorldUK Awards for her role as Eliza Schuyler in West End\u2019s \u201cHamilton.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Upon hearing the news, Rachelle immediately took to Twitter to say a \u201cthank you to everyone,\u201d retweeting Hamilton West End\u2019s post that captioned, \u201cThank you so much to everyone who voted for us in the<\/span> #BWWAwards<\/span><\/a>. Congratulations to<\/span> Terera Giles and<\/span> Rachelle Anne Go for Best Actor \/ Best Actress,<\/span> Jason Pennycooke for Best Supporting Actor and for voting<\/span> #HamiltonLDN<\/span><\/a> as Best New Production of a Musical.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Rachelle is most known in the Philippines for her rendition of Mariah Carey\u2019s \u201cThrough the Rain\u201d and her own single \u201cLove Of My Life.\u201d She also co-hosted local television show <\/span>Search For A Star in A Million<\/span><\/i>. However, in 2014, Rachelle left the local industry for international broadway\u2019s such as West End\u2019s \u201cMiss Saigon\u201d and \u201cLes Miserable.\u201d She has been featured in the\u00a0<\/span>Variety<\/span><\/i> magazine, <\/span>The Hollywood Reporter<\/span><\/i>, and <\/span>The New York Times<\/span><\/i>, with the publications applauding her theater performances.
