The 27-year-old actress revealed the news during a press launch at the Movie Stars Cafe in Eton Centris last Thursday, November 22.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When talking about why Bela was selected, Marc Ngo, the brand\u2019s manager talks about the \u2018strength of heart\u2019 mantra that Tanduay is promoting, stating, \u201cWe believe that in the coming year, having #TibayNgLoob is more important than ever: &#8220;#Tibay ng loob to pursue what you love, to stand for what you believe in, to push for positive change.\u201d He elaborates on how Bela is unafraid to tell her story and to be bold in celebration of the liquor company\u2019s 165th anniversary.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">During the conference, Bela also shares her experience, stating in a mix of English and Filipino, \u201cI feel like in the photoshoot that we made, there will be different photos for every month and all of those photos represent a part of my life. So there are some creative, some that are really girly, some that are strong, some that are independent. I feel like they all somehow represent me.\u201d When asked about how she thinks her younger audience will respond to her new project, Bela replies, \u201c<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">What I do resonates to the millennials so I\u2019m very careful with what I do, because I want them to see taking care of my life.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Tanduay Rhum is a Philippine-produced brand of rum by Tanduay Distillers, Inc.owned by LT Group, Inc. Among Tanduay\u2019s previous calendar girls include: Heart Evangelista, Katrina Halili, Carla Abellana, Bangs Garcia, Ehra Madrigal, Erich Gonzales, Iya Villania, Jennylyn Mercado, and KC Concepcion. During the press conference, Bela also mentions these previous girls as her motivation to \u201cwork out\u201d before the shoot, because they\u2019re \u201creally sexy,\u201d but adds, \u201cI didn\u2019t go like super out of my way because I feel like they chose me because of who I am right now.
