He is faithful.&#8221; (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/BqcAf9dgK4X\/\">Photo<\/a>: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/bodiecruz\/\">@bodiecruz<\/a>\/<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/\">Instagram<\/a>)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Veteran Actor Tirso Cruz III and wife Lyn Ynchausti\u2019s mourn the passing of eldest son Tristan Jedidiah \u201cTeejay\u201d Cruz, who died last Wednesday, November 21 due to lymphatic cancer at the age of 37. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The news was first posted by cousin former \u201cWildflower\u201d star Sunshine Cruz, who posted a photo of her and Teejay saying, \u201cI will miss you. RIP. Love you. Heaven gained another angel.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Teejay\u2019s brother Bodie Cruz then finally released a statement announcing, \u201cThe battle with cancer for the past six months was tough, but it was also a time we got to experience God\u2019s love and faithfulness in abundance as a family.\u201d He adds, \u201cI am so grateful to the Lord for your life that was filled with passion, boldness and love. You desired nothing but to serve God and to glorify Him through dancing.\u201d Bodie finished his post saying, \u201cNow, you will be able to do it free from sickness and pain, and in front of our Creator Himself \u2014 and you get to worship Him there forever. I love you, Kuya.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As of writing, neither of Teejay\u2019s parents nor has his only sister Djanin post about Teejay\u2019s passing, although his mom\u2019s last Instagram photo is from his birthday, giving her eldest a message admiring his \u201cgood heart, [being] a hardworking person, and so full of talent!\u201d In Lyn\u2019s words to Teejay, \u201cI pray for good health and more blessings to come your way.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Teejay was an <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ang TV<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> star who also acted in films \u201cRollerboys\u201d and \u201cEskapo.\u201d In 2003, Teejay left showbusiness to pursue his studies, obtaining a degree in International Studies at De La Salle University. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">With his love for volleyball, Teejay made the headlines in 2015 for passion project \u201cSpike For Hope\u201d which was a volleyball tournament to honor pediatric cancer survivors.
