All three sets ended at 25-20.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Open hitter Rachel Daquis and National Team member Mylene Paat both contributed a total of 15 points for Cignal, while teammate Royse Tubino produced 10. They became a strong trio rallying against opponent Smart, whose highest scorer was Gretchel Soltones, who produced 13 points. Smart head coach Roger Goyeb attempted to shuffle the lineup, but no combination seemingly worked.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cignal HD Head Coach Edgar Barroga shared that he hopes his team performs the same way in the second round because \u201ceverything clicked for [them] and [his] team really showed its potential.\u201d Coach Barroga stated, \u201cWe\u2019re really looking forward to our continued development heading into the next round. I hope we can play this way consistently,\u201d referring to their first round performance where they finished with a 4-3 record.
