MANILA — Turning down the resignation of Budget Secretary Florencio Abad, only strengthens resolve for President Aquino’s impeachment, according to a lawmaker.<\/p>\n

On his Twitter account, Kabataan Party-list Representative Terry Ridon said there is now enough reason\u00a0to impeach the president.<\/p>\n

“Non-acceptance of resignation gives further resolve for the impeachment of the President.<\/p>\n

Ridon, who was among the petitioners against DAP, said the declaration of the unconstitutionality of some parts of DAP is a “solid ground” for culpable violation of the Constitution and betrayal of public trust.<\/p>\n
