(<a href=\"https:\/\/commons.wikimedia.org\/w\/index.php?curid=63300470\">File Photo By GoToVan\/Wikimedia <\/a>commons<a href=\"https:\/\/commons.wikimedia.org\/w\/index.php?curid=63300470\">, CC BY 2.0<\/a>)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>VANCOUVER \u2014 A Vancouver casino says it \u201ccategorically\u201d stands against racism after Drake accused it of \u201cprofiling\u201d him.<\/p>\n<p>In a post on Instagram, the Toronto rapper called Parq Vancouver \u201cthe worst run business\u201d he has ever witnessed.<\/p>\n<p>He says the casino did not allow him to gamble, despite his providing \u201ceverything they originally asked\u201d him for.<\/p>\n<p>Drake didn&#8217;t elaborate and his representatives declined to comment further.<\/p>\n<p>Following Drake&#8217;s post, Parq Vancouver&#8217;s website was flooded with negative comments, with one user saying, \u201cIt&#8217;s 2018 not 1945.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In a pair of statements on Saturday that did not name Drake, the casino first said it was \u201cactively investigating\u201d the incident, then apologized for what it called \u201cthe experience our customer had.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are operating in one of the most complex, highly regulated industries and are always looking to better our communication and customer service,\u201d casino president Joe Brunini said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are constantly improving our communications process to ensure that these new regulations are better understood by all guests.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Under rules that took effect in January, casinos in B.C. are required \u201cto gather detailed information on the source of player funds for all transactions of $10,000 or more,\u201d according to the provincial gambling regulator.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEffective today, all cash and bank draft\/certified cheque buy-ins for $10,000 or more, in one or more transactions within a 24-hour period, will require a source of funds receipt,\u201d the British Corporation Lottery Corporation said in a statement Jan. 10.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe original receipt must be from the same day of the transaction and show the financial institution, branch number and account number.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In the wake of Drake&#8217;s allegations, Brunini said the casino was \u201ccommitted to having a productive conversation to resolve this issue.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe categorically stand against racism of any kind.
