This is the first time the group is performing in the Philippines.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The group, comprised of Jisoo, Jennie, Rose, and Lisa, announced the details of their tour on their official Facebook account. Besides the Philippines, Blackpink will also go to Bangkok, Jakarta, Hong Kong, Manila, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, and Taipei. The tour spans from January 12, 2019 to March 3, 2019.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After the announcement of Blackpink\u2019s concert, which was made on November 1, 2018, Philippine fans were quick to express their excitement. Mariana Mayorga posts on Twitter, \u201cAm I the only one whose heart suddenly beats a triple times and was about to cry when I read that Blackpink is coming here to the Philippines? Like, OMJ? They\u2019re coming? Finally! But wait, how can I buy a ticket if I don\u2019t even own hammer bong.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">An account under the name \u2018Monica\u2019 states, \u201cSelling one kidney for blackpink tickets,\u201d another named \u2018Stef\u2019 saying, \u201cBlackpink is going to Manila, OMG, I have been preparing for this everyday in class!\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Blackpink launched in 2016 under YG management and is most known for their tracks \u201cSquare Up\u201d and \u201cDdu Du Ddu Du,\u201d which is the lead single of their debut EP.
