Rojas II, the PCSO Endowment Fund is meant to cover the medical expenses of patients who qualify as charity cases, under existing PCSO rules and guidelines.<\/p>\n<p>Rojas further said that the 62 beneficiary hospitals were accorded amounts ranging from P300,000 to P5 million, with regard to factors such as bed capacity, services offered, etcetera.<\/p>\n<p>Ten of the hospitals are operated by the Department of Health: East Avenue Medical Center, and Baguio City General Hospital and Medical Center (P3 million each); Lung Center of the Philippines, National Children\u2019s Hospital, Philippine Children\u2019s Medical Center, Tondo Medical Center, and Davao Regional Hospital (P2.5 million each); Amang Rodriguez Memorial Hospital and Bataan General Hospital (P2 million each); and the Caraga Regional Hospital in Surigao City (P1.5 million.)<\/p>\n<p>In the National Capitol Region, the Philippine General Hospital will be receiving P5 million; Caloocan City Medical Center, P1 million, and Sta.
