He claimed that he didn\u2019t remember what he did, maybe because he had a drink, and he asked for forgiveness and I gave him a chance. I told him, &#8216;Next time, don\u2019t bring yourself to the point that you will hurt someone.\u2019 He promised he wouldn\u2019t do it again.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Janella has stopped seeing her psychiatrist during that time but resumed after the incident had happened. She also shared that Elmo is \u201cseeking professional help as well,\u201d adding, \u201cI support him on that. It\u2019s good that he recognized the problem and he\u2019s addressing it.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The twenty-year-old Cebuana celebrity then tells the newspaper that her \u201cpurpose in speaking now is not to shame [Elmo] or put him down,\u201d she said, \u201cI just want to correct the lies being spread against me and my mom and to let the truth out. I thought long and hard before I decided to speak out.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Janella and her mother, Jenine Desiderio, have also been in the headlines the past few months for being in a feud, which she says that now she focusing on herself and removing Elmo from her life has helped her improve their mother-daughter relationship. Janella assures, &#8220;We are fixing things. We are talking. I may not agree with the extreme way she expresses her feelings, but I realized her intentions are good.
