A huge thank you for the trust that you gave me and for taking good care of me.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">GMA-7 Senior Vice President to Entertainment Lilybeth Rasonable also spoke to Pep.PH about Regine\u2019s move stating in support, \u201c<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After two decades, Regine Velasquez-Alcasid has officially said her goodbyes to the Kapuso Network. We understand her decision to join her husband and we wish her well as she pursues other opportunities outside GMA Network.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Regine\u2019s first stint for ABS-CBN is <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ASAP Live in Sydney,<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> where she\u2019ll be performing alongside her husband Ogie Alcasid on October 20. The event\u2019s social media shared, \u201cThis marks the first time that the best-selling OPM artist of all time will be part of an ASAP live event overseas,\u201d captioning the photo of their press release with \u201cMga Kapamilya! More stars are joining #ASAPLiveinSydney.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Prior to her involvement with ABS-CBN, Regine was accompanied by now-Kapamilya stars, her husband Ogie Alcasid, singer Jaya, and songwriter Janno Gibs on GMA-7 variety show \u201cSOP,\u201d which was ASAP\u2019s rival for 13 years until it ended in 2010. She\u2019s also known for as the host of talent show \u201cThe Clash.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Regine\u2019s friends from ABS-CBN have already welcomed her into the network, star Sharon Cuneta posting a photo on Instagram captioned, \u201cMy Songbird and I now live in the same house! Welcome, my Regine.\u201d Angeline Quinto also commented on one of Regine\u2019s posts in Filipino stating, \u201cGood morning to our queen.
