Showbiz couple Chesca Garcia-Kramer and Doug Kramer renewed their vows in front of friends and family at the Grand Hyatt Manila on October 9 in honor of their 10-year anniversary. <\/span><\/p>\n

The couple reported that Doug was initially planning to surprise his wife with a ring and band, but was surprised himself when Chesca brought him to a celebration. Upon sight of his wife, Doug told Chesca, \u201cYou\u2019re so dressed up! It\u2019s like we\u2019re getting married again!\u201d to which Chesca responded, \u201cYou always surprise me. But this time around, it\u2019s my surprise for you!\u201d as they entered the venue. Even the couple\u2019s kids Kendra, Scarlett, and Gavin were in on the secret!<\/span><\/p>\n

The basketball player shared a photo of him and his wife on Instagram that captioned, \u201cWe celebrated our renewal of vows with all our loved ones! Crazy! I\u2019m still in shock!\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n

He continued with a photo of him in tears, sharing how their planned celebration went through a whirlwind, wanting to have it in Boracay, Tagaytay, and Baguio but those locations not pushing thru. He finished with a message to his wife that said, \u201cI love you so much honey, I also know how much this 10th year means to you!\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n

Event planner and coordinator Teena Baretto told Cosmopolitan, \u201cIf you know Chesca, she\u2019s not the type to plan or give surprises,\u201d further elaborating that the preparation took only ten days because \u201cshe wanted an intimate celebration on the exact day of their anniversary.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n

The theme consisted of greens and candles – something \u201ceffortless and elegant,\u201d with details consisting \u201clounge seating, hurricane lamps all around, garden breeze, and their theme song, \u2018Of All The Things.\u2019\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n

Among the celebrity guests were photographer Pat Dy, <\/span>It\u2019s Showtime! h<\/span><\/i>ost Anne Curtis, and former Side A vocalist Joey Generoso, who performed during the celebration.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
