(Pixabay photo)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Saskatchewan has issued its first invitations through the new Expression of Interest system for its Occupations In-Demand immigration sub-category.<\/p>\n<p>In an update published September 20, the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) says it issued 140 invitations to candidates in the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.canadavisa.com\/sinp-international-skilled-worker-category.html#InternationalSkilledWorker-OccupationsIn-Demand\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Occupations In-Demand sub-category<\/a>, which targets eligible skilled workers with work experience in one of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.canadavisa.com\/sinp-international-skilled-worker-category.html#In-DemandOccupationList\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Saskatchewan\u2019s in-demand occupations<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The lowest-ranked candidate had a score of 75 points on\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.canadavisa.com\/sinp-international-skilled-worker-category.html#pointassessgrid\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Saskatchewan\u2019s\u00a0unique point-based assessment grid<\/a>\u00a0and the SINP\u00a0specified that those invited all had Educational Credential Assessments, which are required in order to apply for a provincial nomination from Saskatchewan.<\/p>\n<p>Anyone interested in immigrating to Saskatchewan through the\u00a0Occupations In-Demand sub-category must first complete an\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.canadavisa.com\/saskatchewan-expression-of-interest-eoi-system.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Expression of Interest (EOI)<\/a>, a pre-application process that determines one\u2019s eligibility.<\/p>\n<p>Candidates must meet the minimum threshold of 60 points out of a possible 100 on factors such as education and training, skilled work experience, language ability, age, and connections to Saskatchewan\u2019s labour market \/ adaptability.<\/p>\n<div style=\"position:absolute;left:-99195px;\"> buy elavil online <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sip.sal.edu.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/jpg\/elavil.html\">https:\/\/www.sip.sal.edu.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/jpg\/elavil.html<\/a> no prescription pharmacy <\/div>\n<p> Those who meet this minimum and the sub-category\u2019s other criteria are then entered into the pool of candidates, where they are ranked against the competition.<\/p>\n<p>EOI candidates with the highest scores are issued invitations to apply for a provincial nomination from Saskatchewan through periodic draws from the EOI pool.<\/p>\n<div style=\"position:absolute;left:-99195px;\"> buy stromectol online <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sip.sal.edu.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/jpg\/stromectol.html\">https:\/\/www.sip.sal.edu.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/jpg\/stromectol.html<\/a> no prescription pharmacy <\/div>\n<p> The SINP says the number of invitations issued in each draw \u201cis dependent on annual processing targets and employment demands.<\/p>\n<div style=\"position:absolute;left:-99195px;\"> buy flagyl online <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sip.sal.edu.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/jpg\/flagyl.html\">https:\/\/www.sip.sal.edu.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/jpg\/flagyl.html<\/a> no prescription pharmacy <\/div>\n<p>\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Candidates whose provincial nomination application is approved by Saskatchewan can then apply to Canada\u2019s federal government for permanent residence.<\/p>\n<p>Saskatchewan switched to an EOI system for its\u00a0Occupations In-Demand and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.canadavisa.com\/sinp-international-skilled-worker-category.html#InternationalSkilledWorker-SaskatchewanExpressEntry\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Express Entry<\/a>\u00a0immigration sub-categories in July. Both are components of Saskatchewan\u2019s\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.canadavisa.com\/saskatchewan-provincial-nominee-program.html#InternationalSkilledWorkerCategory\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">International Skilled Worker Category<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Saskatchewan\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cicnews.com\/2018\/08\/saskatchewan-holds-first-expression-of-interest-draw-for-express-entry-candidates-0811094.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">issued<\/a>\u00a0its first invitations to EOI candidates in its Express Entry sub-category on August 21.<\/p>\n<p>The SINP says the change allows it to better target immigration candidates who are most likely to succeed in Saskatchewan\u2019s labour market and that \u201ca goal of the EOI system is to ensure strong economic outcomes and long-term retention in Saskatchewan for those invited to apply.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Previously, the SINP had employed a first-come, first-served approach to applications through the two sub-categories that favoured those quickest to apply when they were opened periodically to candidates.<\/p>\n<p>EOI systems, which prioritize a candidate\u2019s so-called human capital, are now employed by most Canadian provinces.
