Edgar Erice belittled the military group, Bayan\u2019s plan to file an impeachment complaint against President Aquino.<\/p>\n<p>Erice said in an interview with GMA News that the case, which will be filed in connection with the controversial Disbursement Acceleration Program (DAP) is expected of a leftist group who always put the blame on the president.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAlam mo yung Bayan lahat naman ng presidente hinahainan nila ng impeachment,\u201d Erice said.<\/p>\n<p>(You know that Bayan always files an impeachment complaint against every president.)<\/p>\n<p>\u201c&#8217;Yung grupo ng mga leftist tuwing may presidente lahat mali ang ginagawa,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>(The leftist group always blames every president of his or her wrongdoing.)<\/p>\n<p>He also added that the impeachment complaint will slow down the Congress which still has a long list of work to do.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMakasasagabal ito sa takbo ng Kongreso. Makakaabala &#8216;yan, marami kaming ginagawa ngayon tulad ng 2015 budget, anti-political dynasty law, yung Freedom of Information (FOI) bill.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>(It will be an obstacle for the Congress. It\u2019s going to be a waste of time. We have a lot of work to do like the 2015 budget, the anti-political dynasty law, and the Freedom of Information (FOI) bill)<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWalang kwenta itong ipa-file na impeachment, sa palagay ko walang mangyayari, pero we will deal with it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>(The impeachment complaint will be useless.
