(RICHARD MADELO\/PRESIDENTIAL FILE PHOTO)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>MANILA<\/strong>\u00a0&#8212; President Rodrigo Duterte has never changed his position to settle the West Philippine Sea (WPS) dispute through diplomatic means without giving up an inch of the Philippine territory, Malaca\u00f1ang said on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque made this statement in response to Duterte\u2019s previous remark that trouble could erupt if China would attempt to unilaterally exploit resources, particularly oil, in the WPS.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe has never changed his tune. He has been consistent,\u201d Roque told a Palace press briefing.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNothing.
