For six years of being a love team in front of the camera, looks like most of the romance that people are missing are actually behind.

Of the many ‘how’ questions that can be thrown to them for years of silence, perhaps “How long have you been together, officially?” is the trickiest of all to answer. But the words that came after in response to it would probably be more heartwarming than any of their notable lines in any of their on-screen projects.

No one can deny the fame of the stars Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo; and in spite of keeping mum about the reality of their romance for the past six years of being a loveteam, perhaps the pink aura surrounding the two is also something that cannot be denied by the eye and the heart.

So when Daniel admits to the entertainment press the real score between him and Kathryn, perhaps, people are not really that surprised for this open secret. But of course, the secret tag has to be scratched now after the big reveal.

After a brief ‘deliberation’ which consists of whispering, nodding, and back and forth eye-to-eye signals, Kathryn stares at Daniel, who was facing the entertainment press.

“Basta more than five years na,” his answer came, dropping the mic probably both figuratively and literally (on the sofa they are sitting on) – as he chuckled.

Just so happened that Daniel’s answer was also “more than five” words, the confirmation would probably give their fans “more than five” punches of happiness to the heart from the kilig. While it it is not like they really could not read the reality of the atmosphere for years of admiring the couple, a public confirmation to replace all the question marks with a period is sure to keep smiles pasted on their lips.

Similar to the hurdles they have faced in their relationship, the two are taking roles of characters in matured set-ups and storylines. And just in time to introduce George and Primo in the big screen – the roles they are playing for their movie “The Hows of Us,” Daniel’s confession was heard on the press conference of the upcoming film on Wednesday, August 22.

As the entertainment reporters pressed the couple for their relationship off-cam, Kathryn answered the question if there was a time that they had to ‘save’ their relationship like George and Primo. According to the 22-year old star, just like theirs, no relationship is smooth and perfect.

“Pero (But) how did we save it? Kasi gusto namin (Because we wanted to). And for me, choice niyo ‘yun palaging dalawa kung tutuloy pa ba, or ilalaban pa ba (it is both of the partners’ choice if they will continue or fight for it)?” she explained.

Kathryn, with confidence, then added, “And I think I made the right choice.” This remark earned a lip-biting gesture from Daniel, who was beside her, trying to suppress his growing smile. The press also found themselves ‘awww-ing’ to what Kathryn said.

Daniel also said that though he is not a “love guru,” personally, finding his way back to Kathryn everytime they face hardships is one of the things that can save their relationship from falling apart.

Both of them also admitted that they have taken the serious path of their relationship as talks on marriage already surfaced. While both are fixated on getting one another’s hands for their road to forever, they said that they still do not have a definite plan yet.

The film directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina is set to spread hearts in theater screens on August 29 nationwide.

Others may be in the trend of on and off relationships, but these two are doing it on-cam and off-cam. …

[2,46

post-178216","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-entertainment","category-entertainment-ph","mauthors-bea-kirstein-t-manalaysay","mauthors-philippine-canadian-inquirer
["GET
