Mitoy and his brother Mylo, first appeared in Eat Bulaga\u2019s singing contest in the late 90\u2019s.<\/p>\n<p>Other GMA-7 shows where Mitoy had previous TV appearances, include \u201cFul Haus\u201d and \u201cH3O: Ha Ha Ha Over!\u201d on QTV Channel 11 (now GMA News TV).<\/p>\n<p>Prior to accepting the offer from the Kapamilya network, the 43-year-old singer shared that he asked Vic Sotto\u2019s blessings, \u201c<em>Personally kinausap ko si Vic Sotto. Nilapitan ko si Bossing. Nagpaalam ako. Siyempre respeto naman \u2018yun e ang laki naman ng naitulong sa\u2019kin [ng Eat Bulaga] noong simula e.<\/em>\u00a0(I personally talked to Vic Sotto. I approached Bossing. I asked permission. Of course, I needed to be respectful. Eat Bulaga had helped me a lot when I was just starting).\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He added, \u201c<em>E sabi ko sa kanya, \u2018Bossing medyo magkakaroon daw ako ng Showtime.\u2019 Sabi niya, \u2018Ok \u2018yun!\u2019 Tsaka sitcom, \u2018E \u2018di ayos!<\/em>\u2019\u201d\u00a0(I told him, \u2018Bossing, I will have Showtime.\u2019 He said, \u2018That\u2019s okay!
