MANILA — After quitting in the reality talent search “America’s Got Talent,” Gab Valenciano, son of Gary Valenciano has already returned to the Philippines.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWhenever people ask me, \u2018Did you actually make it?\u2019 I actually did pero ‘yun nga, when we got deeper into it, me, my mom and my dad, we all talked about it and we all realized na parang in show business, especially in reality TV, parang you\u2019re not reassured na you will make it unlike getting into a business where ito talaga ‘yung ginawa ko. I love making music, I love making videos. I realized I want to do this for a living,\u201d he said in an interview with\u00a0\u00a0ABS-CBN News\u2019 Ginger Conejero last Friday.<\/span><\/p>\n

Gab clarified the rumors that he got terminated from the talent show saying he quit the show for more “permanent opportunities.”<\/p>\n

He added that he had to choose his passion or a “30-second fame.”<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat I went there for is music production and video production. I had to choose if I wanted my 30 seconds of fame or if I wanted something that would last my whole career,\u201d he said.<\/span><\/p>\n

Gab was talking about putting up a media company in the United States with his friends.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am actually putting up my own media company which is going to be based in the States and basically it\u2019s going to be all video and music content,” he said.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWe are going to be a team of five people that are going to be shooting, recording \u2013 all of these things. It\u2019s something na ito talaga yung pinuntahan ko sa States. I studied for it. I graduated already. So I\u2019m really excited for that\u201d he added.<\/span><\/p>\n
