Naka<\/em>-move on <em>na ko<\/em> (I am done with that. I have moved on),\u201d he said in an interview with Rappler on Thursday, August 2, during the Partido Demokratiko Pilipino-Lakas ng Bayan (PDP-Laban) leadership assembly.<\/p>\n<p>This was Alvarez\u2019s response when he was asked if he wanted to change some of his actions in the past that could have contributed to what happened.<\/p>\n<p>But according to the former House Speaker, he is at peace with himself.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>Wala na tayong mabigat na<\/em> responsibility <em>na pasan-pasan sa balikat natin<\/em> (I do not have a heavy responsibility to carry on my shoulders anymore),\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n<p>Alvarez, in the same interview, further said that there is no sense anymore in talking about something that is already finished.<\/p>\n<p>Without giving much detail, he did say that he and incumbent House Speaker Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo already talked about a \u2018smooth transition.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>For now, he said he will focus on his district as the Davao del Norte 1<sup>st<\/sup> district representative.<\/p>\n<p>Alvarez in a chance interview with the reporters in the same event said that he is okay with what happened and that he still sleeps soundly at night.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>Sinabi ko nga, ako<\/em>, the pain lasted only 24 hours. After that, <em>wala na <\/em>(I actually said, the pain lasted only 24 hours.
