{"id":174006,"date":"2018-07-30T05:57:01","date_gmt":"2018-07-30T09:57:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/canadianinquirer.net\/v1\/?p=174006"},"modified":"2018-07-30T05:57:01","modified_gmt":"2018-07-30T09:57:01","slug":"duterte-mediate-partys-disunion","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/canadianinquirer.net\/v1\/2018\/07\/30\/duterte-mediate-partys-disunion\/","title":{"rendered":"Duterte to mediate his party\u2019s disunion"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">President Rodrigo Duterte will try his best to fix the faction tiff ongoing inside the country\u2019s ruling party, Partido Demokratiko Pilipino\u2013Lakas ng Bayan\u00a0\u00a0(PDP-Laban).<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">In a radio interview on Saturday, Special Assistant to the President (SAP) Bong\u00a0\u00a0Go said Duterte will hold a caucus to fix the disunion of PDP-Laban when he told him about the national assembly of last Friday where a certain faction was electing \u201cnew leaders,\u201d\u00a0\u00a0replacing Senate President Aquilino Pimentel III and former speaker Pantaleon Alvarez.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Clueless about having faction inside the party, Go said: \u201cI did not know about these factions. I told him, you&#8217;re chairman of both factions. I&#8217;m also auditor of both factions.
