It is much harder than that,\u201d the senator said, adding that it requires \u201ccomprehensive studies and deliberations\u201d to achieve appropriate changes in the 1987 Constitution.<\/p>\n<p>He said that the country&#8217;s shift\u00a0to a federal form of government will affect the people of today and the generations to come so it should not be rushed.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCongress should not be rushed into amending the Constitution to pave the way for federalism,\u201d Drilon said.<\/p>\n<p>He then stressed the need to take time and allow the process to work accordingly.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLet the committee system work. Let the committee draft its report and route it to its member.
