(<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/BlEuyTwAeov\/?hl=en&amp;amp;taken-by=annecurtissmith\">Photo<\/a>: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/annecurtissmith\">Anne Curtis\/Instagram<\/a>)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>In her 21 years in the show business, Anne Curtis revealed that her latest movie \u201cBuy Bust\u201d may be the most difficult film to ever shoot.<\/p>\n<p>Gunshots, piles of bodies, blood \u2013 all vicious elements of a crime are apparent in the upcoming action movie\u2019s trailer as if it was possible to smell the scent of blood and gunpowder in the air just from watching.<\/p>\n<p>The 33-year-old actress confessed that such intensity to be manifested in the widescreen is not an easy task, in spite of allotting 21 of her years in front of the camera.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYes, I will have to say, <em>ito na siguro yung pinakamahirap na nagawa ko sa buong<\/em> (that this is the most difficult thing I did in my whole) career <em>ko<\/em>. I\u2019m celebrating my 21 years in the industry, so what better way celebrate it with the film like this, <em>\u2018di ba<\/em> (right)?\u201d Anne said during the media conference of their film.<\/p>\n<p>She recalled her most challenging scene \u2013 a one-take three-minute scene \u2013 that she rehearsed for five days.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>Yung eksena, aakyat ako ng bubong, bababa, aakyat ulit tapos makikipag-away<\/em>. Then <em>aakyat ulit ako sa bubong hanggang sa malaglag ako sa bubong<\/em> (The scene is I have to climb a roof, climb down, then climb up again then fight. Then I will climb again until I fall),\u201d Anne narrated.<\/p>\n<p>She revealed that it took them 57 takes in a span of three days to capture the scene perfectly.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>Nung<\/em> first day <em>naming shinoot \u2018yon nasuka ako sa hirap<\/em> (On our first day of shooting, I vomited). <em>Hindi po biro \u2018yon, nasuka talaga ako<\/em> (No joke, I really threw up), that\u2019s how hard it was,\u201d she continued.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to this, the actress said she had no doubles for the movie so she did all the stunts that she dubbed as \u201c<em>buwis-buhay<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>To prove that women can take the lead in action films, Anne said that she knew she had to do it despite being physically, mentally, and emotionally exhausting for the intense role and storyline.<\/p>\n<p>While this serves as the first-ever action role for Anne to fill in, Director Erik Matti said that they would not have finished the film which was two years in the making and is set to hit the international big screens this July 15 for the New York Asian Film Festival.
