(<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/BhlBTpchL6V\/?taken-by=mr.cocomartin\" target=\"_blank\">Photo<\/a>: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/mr.cocomartin\/\" target=\"_blank\">Coco Martin\/Instagram<\/a>)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Once again, online loiterers get creative with one of the biggest questions that science cannot explain and continue to tickle people\u2019s minds to date \u2013 when will \u201cAng Probinsyano\u201d end?<\/p>\n<p>The Kapamilya network\u2019s primetime drama that will enter its third year this September has been a subject of online jokes as its star Coco Martin in the shoes of his character Cardo Dalisay continues to enter different story arcs, meet different characters, and encounter more obstacles (<em>almost<\/em> inhumanly).<\/p>\n<p>A simple search on social media sites will bring one to a plethora of meme results pertaining to the show\u2019s \u201croad to forever.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Just like @Benggadora08 who tweeted, &#8220;<em>Nakakatakot lang isipin na baka mauna pa magtapos ang relasyon niyo kesa sa<\/em> (It is just frightening to think that your relationship may end before the end of) <em>Ang Probinsyano<\/em>.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Twitter user @juhsstn then pointed out &#8220;A cat has 9 lives but <em>Ang Probinsyano<\/em> has 718 episodes and counting and Cardo&#8217;s still alive.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>With shows coming and going in the ABS-CBN\u2019s evening timeslots, <em>Ang Probinsyano<\/em> continues to conquer the throne, but @IiRaymundo has a bright proposal.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI&#8217;m excited for a twist. Cardo will be promoted as general. Then <em>magiging anak niya si<\/em> (his daughter will be) Ms. Angel Locsin. <em>Ang<\/em> (The) next series <em>ng<\/em> (of) <em>Ang Probinsyano<\/em> is <em>The General&#8217;s Daughter<\/em>,\u201d he tweeted, referring to Angel\u2019s upcoming show.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, some users choose to go futuristic with broader concepts.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou wake up in a 10-year coma. You switch the TV on. <em>Ang Probinsyano<\/em>; <em>huling dalawang lingo<\/em> (the last two weeks),\u201d @Poteytooo wrote.<\/p>\n<p>@josephimperial also tweeted, \u201cSoon we&#8217;ll have time period in the Philippines called BCD and ACD: Before and After the death of Cardo Dalisay.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>As of writing, more tweets, comments, and statuses still keep surfacing online.<\/p>\n<p>In fact, the July 9 episode of the drama had hearts raising (and maybe hearts relieving) on the possibility of the show\u2019s upcoming conclusion, after showcasing action-packed sequences that seemed to be \u201cfinale-like.\u201d But the intense scenes, especially of Cardo\u2019s \u201cdeath,\u201d actually ended up as just a dream of his wife, Alyanna, played by Yassi Pressman.<\/p>\n<p>Some viewers just want the show to end after so many happenings in Cardo\u2019s life, often funnily mocking that he must be an immortal. He already lost some of the closest figures in his life, saved so many people, killed antagonists, and went undercover several times.<\/p>\n<p>However, the show\u2019s star himself \u2013 also its director, confirmed that Cardo\u2019s story is far from over.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>Napakahaba pa ng tatakbuhin ng kuwento<\/em> (The story will run longer),\u201d Coco said in a report by PUSH.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>Kapag naramdaman namin na wala na kaming kuwentong maibibigay, kailangan na naming tapusin. Pero hangga\u2019t tinatangkilik pa siya ng mga tao, hanggga\u2019t may maibiigay pa kaming kwento, hangga\u2019t nakaka<\/em>-inspire <em>pa kami ng mga tao, nandiyan pa din ang Ang Probinsyano<\/em> (When we feel that we have no more stories to deliver, we have to end it. But until people are still supporting it, while we still have stories to tell, while we are still able to inspire people, Ang Probinsyano will remain),\u201d he further uttered.<\/p>\n<p>Coco\u2019s answer came after rumors surfaced that his show will be ending soon, especially that more characters are going to be introduced.<\/p>\n<p>Even ABS-CBN issued a statement to debunk the hearsays afloat.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere is no truth to the rumor that <em>FPJ&#8217;s Ang Probinsyano<\/em> is scheduled to end soon.
