Photo from the official website of the Philippine Embassy in Kuwait<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>MANILA &#8212; A Filipina working as a household service worker, who was reported to have been raped, fell from a building in Kuwait.<\/p>\n<p>Krizia,\u00a0 not her real name, 27, is working for an Iranian employer since her arrival in Kuwait last May 17.<\/p>\n<p>In trying to escape from her employer, she tied up the bed sheets and tried to escape out of the window of a building where she was allegedly locked in a room.<\/p>\n<p>Krizia narrated that she was raped by the brother of her female employer last June 9.<\/p>\n<p>But the moment she tried to complain, her employer, who did not believed her, dismissed the issue.<\/p>\n<p>She decided to seek help of her manpower agency on June 16 and they immediately filed a case against her employer.<\/p>\n<p>The employer however, bargained for her immediate repatriation in exchange of her not pursuing the case, saying that the case may still drag on for years.<\/p>\n<p>Krizia said she was locked up inside a room at her agency&#8217;s building when she said that she wanted to go to the Philippine Embassy to seek help.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\">&#8220;Tumatakas po ako kasi naka-lock po ang pintuan. Gusto ko po pumunta ng embassy para magsumbong po kasi ni rape po ako,&#8221; Krizia said in an interview for ABS-CBN News.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>[I tried to escape because the door was locked.
