This comes a day after Tanauan City, Batangas Mayor Antonio Halili was killed.<\/p>\n<p>Presidential spokesperson Harry Roque said that Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief Director General Oscar Albayalde has vowed to bring perpetrators to justice.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are confident that PNP Chief, Director-General Oscar Albayalde, would be able to conduct a fair and thorough investigation and bring the perpetrators to justice,\u201d Roque said in a press statement.<\/p>\n<p>Roque also said that all murders of mayors will be the government\u2019s obligation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe assure everyone that we would discharge the state obligation for every murder.
