(<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/MOSCHINO.officialpage\/photos\/rpp.45586215989\/10156513350300990\/?type=3&amp;amp;theater\">Photo<\/a>: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/MOSCHINO.officialpage\/\">MOSCHINO &#8211; the official page\/Facebook<\/a>)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>BURBANK, Calif. &#8212; Leave it to Jeremy Scott to make the circus couture.<\/p>\n<p>The Moschino designer known for his whimsical collections and theatrical flair threw a big top bash Friday complete with circus performers and a Ferris wheel for the brand&#8217;s women&#8217;s resort and menswear collections.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere is like a muscleman lubed up!\u201d said actress Jamie King, eyeing a pre-show performer in animal print briefs. \u201cIt&#8217;s very Moschino.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Cirque du Scott opened with the designer-turned-greatest showman teasing \u201cdeath-defying acts of glamour\u201d to the audience, which included Gwen Stefani, Kris Jenner, January Jones, Billy Idol, Emma Roberts, Aubrey Plaza, Eve and Paris Jackson.<\/p>\n<p>His troupe of runway rock stars worked the tent in spectacular sequins, a rainbow of contrasting patterns and textures, shimmering top hats, tiny parasols and some groovy 1960s-style bell bottoms and peace signs thrown in for good measure.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is a real spectacular!\u201d said Scott before the show at the Los Angeles Equestrian Center. \u201cI love kind of anything that&#8217;s like a razzle-dazzle.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Knee-length hoop skirts in bright florals, like canary yellow and sky blue, ballooned over hot pink polka-dot tights.<\/p>\n<p>Scott&#8217;s modern ringmasters wore gold-embroidered tracksuits, while the strongman strut his stuff in a leopard print leotard&#8211;barbell in tow.<\/p>\n<p>Clowns of every colour came complete with oversized coats and trousers, gigantic bowties and neckties that draped to the knees<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis circus tonight is everything!\u201d said Jenner. \u201cHe&#8217;s got such an imagination, such great creativity.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>It was a family affair for Stefani who&#8217;s busy prepping for her upcoming Las Vegas residency. Scott is designing the costume for Stefani&#8217;s grand finale in her \u201cJust A Girl\u201d show, opening June 27.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHonestly, it&#8217;s like one of those things where he&#8217;s invited me to everything he&#8217;s ever done,\u201d said Stefani. \u201cAnd I never can come because I&#8217;m a mom so I have to pick and choose. So I just ended up saying, &#8216;OK I&#8217;m coming and I&#8217;m bringing all the children!\u201d&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>The circus celebration came to a close with an intricately beaded gown, a dramatic feather headdress and some stunning aerial acrobatics.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe need to have some joy and fun and that is my role,\u201d Scott said. \u201cIf I can put a smile on people&#8217;s faces or bring people out of kind of doldrums for a moment, then I&#8217;ve done my job.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>BURBANK, Calif. &#8212; Leave it to Jeremy Scott to make the circus couture.
