{"id":166167,"date":"2018-06-05T04:36:53","date_gmt":"2018-06-05T08:36:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/canadianinquirer.net\/v1\/?p=166167"},"modified":"2018-06-05T04:36:53","modified_gmt":"2018-06-05T08:36:53","slug":"duterte-praises-moons-commitment-to-achieve-peace-with-nokor","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/canadianinquirer.net\/v1\/2018\/06\/05\/duterte-praises-moons-commitment-to-achieve-peace-with-nokor\/","title":{"rendered":"Duterte praises Moon\u2019s commitment to achieve peace with Nokor"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>President Rodrigo Duterte commended South Korean leader Moon Jae-in for his vision to bring \u201cpeace, stability and prosperity\u201d in the Korean Peninsula.<\/p>\n<p>After the summit meeting of the two leaders at the presidential Blue House in Seoul, Duterte said Moon manifested his \u201cselfless dedication\u201d when he and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un signed a peace agreement during their historic meeting last April.<\/p>\n<p>Duterte said that the \u201cPhilippines is hopeful that positive developments over the past several months will continue and contribute positively toward the goal of the denuclearization in [the] Korean peninsula.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>With this, Moon said, \u201cDuterte\u2019s support will be of great help to us on our journey to establish peace on the Korean Peninsula.
