President Rodrigo Duterte commended South Korean leader Moon Jae-in for his vision to bring \u201cpeace, stability and prosperity\u201d in the Korean Peninsula.<\/p>\n
After the summit meeting of the two leaders at the presidential Blue House in Seoul, Duterte said Moon manifested his \u201cselfless dedication\u201d when he and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un signed a peace agreement during their historic meeting last April.<\/p>\n
Duterte said that the \u201cPhilippines is hopeful that positive developments over the past several months will continue and contribute positively toward the goal of the denuclearization in [the] Korean peninsula.\u201d<\/p>\n
With this, Moon said, \u201cDuterte\u2019s support will be of great help to us on our journey to establish peace on the Korean Peninsula.
