Sort of.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>Kung kami na? Mej<\/em> (If we are together? Sort of),\u201d this was Maris\u2019s reply to the Entertainment press when she was asked about the real score between her and the younger Pascual.<\/p>\n<p>While not really a new addition to the colorful word pool of millennials, <em>mej<\/em> originated from the Tagalog term \u201c<em>medyo<\/em>\u201d which meant \u201ca bit\u201d or \u201csort of.\u201d And as the word\u2019s definition itself implies vagueness, so did the 20-year-old singer-actress\u2019s reply.<\/p>\n<p>Question marks keep on popping if Maris and I\u00f1igo are an item as interviews of them separately or together always led them to admit that they see each other as someone special. This vagueness yet clearness has given birth to MarNigo fans to continue shipping them.z<\/p>\n<p>Their recent fan meeting at the ABS CBN Vertis Tent just added fuel to the fire after they exchanged three special words: I love you.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cObviously, <em>mahal namin ang isa\u2019t isa <\/em>(we love each other),\u201d this was Maris\u2019s remark on the issue as well.<\/p>\n<p>I\u00f1igo\u2019s reaction to her \u201c<em>mej<\/em>\u201d relationship status did not swing the other way as well.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re not saying we\u2019re together\u2026 I love Maris, I love being with her,\u201d the 20-year-old actor said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m not saying we\u2019re together because we\u2019re focused on so many things. The thing is we know we are enjoying our lives and we are literally on cloud nine right now and we are just happy <em>sa sobra sa dami ng<\/em> (with all this\u00a0abundance of) blessings,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>I\u00f1igo also said that nothing is wrong with exchanging love declarations when it is what they feel for each other.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYes, I said I love you to her and she said \u2018I love you too\u2019 and I don\u2019t think it\u2019s a bad thing. It\u2019s okay to love people and to really share your love to people.
