Duterte will be making his first official state visit to South Korea from June 3 to 5, Presidential spokesperson Harry Roque confirmed on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat will push through and it\u2019s (a) traditional (visit),\u201d Roque said in an interview over DZMM.<\/p>\n<p>Roque made this confirmation after the presidential office of South Korea made the announcement on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>Duterte is expected to meet with his counterpart, South Korean President Moon Jae-in.<\/p>\n<p>He said that the President is also looking forward to meeting Filipino workers in South Korea.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWell, it\u2019s part of the custom, and the President also wants to ensure the welfare of our workers in Korea,\u201d Roque said.<\/p>\n<p>Roque did not elaborate about the President\u2019s trip but said he will be giving further information in a Palace briefing on Monday (May 28).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>MANILA\u00a0&#8212; President Rodrigo R.
