(Pixabay photo)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Ontario has issued more invitations through its Express Entry-linked Skilled Trades and French-Speaking Skilled Worker streams.<\/p>\n<p>The latest invitation rounds were held May 23 and 24 and issued a total of 64 Notifications of Interest (NOIs) to eligible Express Entry candidates.<\/p>\n<p>The draws continue a trend that\u2019s seen Ontario conduct weekly invitation rounds through both of these stream since the second week of April.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.canadavisa.com\/ontario-provincial-nominee-program.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP)<\/a>\u00a0said the 30 Express Entry candidates who received invitations through the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.canadavisa.com\/ontario-express-entry-skilled-trades-stream.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Skilled Trades Stream<\/a>\u00a0submitted their Express Entry profiles between January 1, 2018, and May 23, 2018.<\/p>\n<p>The 34 Express Entry candidates invited through the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.canadavisa.com\/ontario-express-entry-french-speaking-skilled-worker-stream.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">French-Speaking Skilled Worker Stream<\/a>\u00a0submitted their Express Entry profiles between January 1, 2018, and May 24, 2018.<\/p>\n<p>There is no\u00a0minimum\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.canadavisa.com\/express-entry-comprehensive-ranking-system.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Comprehensive Ranking System<\/a>\u00a0(CRS) score requirement for either stream and Express Entry candidates who are nominated by Ontario receive an additional 600 points toward their CRS score.<\/p>\n<p>Ontario has now issued 727 NOIs through the Skilled Trades Stream since the start of 2018. Another 502 Express Entry candidates have received NOIs through the French-Speaking Skilled Worker Stream this year.<\/p>\n<p>Ontario has also issued\u00a02,587 NOIs in 2018 through its\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.canadavisa.com\/ontario-express-entry-human-capital-priorities-stream.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Human Capital Priorities Stream<\/a>, which is also linked to the Express Entry system.<\/p>\n<p>The OINP says it will continue issuing NOIs to candidates in the federal\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.canadavisa.com\/express-entry.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Express Entry pool<\/a>\u00a0who are eligible for one of Ontario\u2019s Express Entry streams \u201con a regular basis.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Skilled Trades Stream is for skilled workers with a valid Express Entry profile who are eligible for the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.canadavisa.com\/canadian-experience-class.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Canadian Experience Class<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0have work experience in\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.canadavisa.com\/ontario-express-entry-skilled-trades-stream.html#Occupations\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">an eligible skilled trade<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The French-Speaking Skilled Worker Stream was launched in 2015 to target French-speaking Express Entry candidates who qualify for either the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.canadavisa.com\/canadian-skilled-worker-immigration.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Federal Skilled Worker Class<\/a>\u00a0or\u00a0the Canadian Experience Class and who have sufficient English language abilities (CLB 6 or higher).<\/p>\n<p>There are also unique provincial criteria that candidates must meet.<\/p>\n<p>Express Entry candidates who received a NOI in these latest invitation rounds have 45 calendar days from the date the NOI letter was issued to submit an online application to the OINP.<\/p>\n<p class=\"bottom-btn\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.canadavisa.com\/assess\/canada-immigration-assessment-form.htm?site=cic&amp;cat=artbot#skw=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">To find out if you are eligible to enter the Express Entry pool, fill out a FREE assessment form.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><em>\u00a9 2018 CICNews All Rights Reserved<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ontario has issued more invitations through its Express Entry-linked Skilled Trades and French-Speaking Skilled Worker streams.
