After a sneak-peek to the public last year, the National Museum of Natural History will now formally open its doors for the whole world to see.<\/p>\n

Just in time to celebrate International Museum Day on May 18, the third building of the National Museum complex will officially open, free for the public.<\/p>\n

The National Museum of Natural History is the third building to complete the complex along with the National Museum of Fine Arts and National Museum of Anthropology.<\/p>\n

It was first unveiled to the public on October 29, 2017, for a one-day open house that showcased not only its exhibit elements but also its architecture and interior design.<\/p>\n

According to its website, it houses the largest national repository of botanical or plant collection in the country as well as a vast collection of the different animal specimens from all over the archipelago of the Philippines.<\/p>\n

This new museum\u2019s one-day open house last year gave glimpses of the life-size replica of the crocodile \u201cLolong\u201d and its preserved body, and many more exhibit displays.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
