{"id":162994,"date":"2018-05-07T12:30:33","date_gmt":"2018-05-07T16:30:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/canadianinquirer.net\/v1\/?p=162994"},"modified":"2018-05-07T12:30:33","modified_gmt":"2018-05-07T16:30:33","slug":"robredo-backs-sereno-over-quo-warranto-case","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/canadianinquirer.net\/v1\/2018\/05\/07\/robredo-backs-sereno-over-quo-warranto-case\/","title":{"rendered":"Robredo backs Sereno over quo warranto case"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Vice President Leni Robredo on Monday stood by embattled Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno\u2019s side, slamming the quo warranto petition against the chief magistrate.<\/p>\n<p>Calling the petition a \u201cfinal blow to the ideal of justice,\u201d Robredo said that the fight against it is not just for Sereno to bear but for everyone.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs your duly-elected Vice President, I took an oath to defend the Constitution.
