Timothy Medrano \/ Shutterstock<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: small;\">MANILA &#8212; As of Friday evening, families displaced by heavy rains and flooding that pounded Maguindanao since June 13 has now hit 13,064 families spread in 91 barangays (villages) of 13 municipalities.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: small;\">The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) stated that the displaced families are from the following towns:<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: small;\">&#8211; Ampatuan (assessment still ongoing)<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: small;\">&#8211; Datu Abdullah Sangki, 773 families<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: small;\">&#8211; Datu Montawal, 1,160 families<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: small;\">&#8211; Datu Odin Sinsuat (assessment still ongoing)<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: small;\">&#8211; Datu Piang (assessment still ongoing)<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: small;\">&#8211; Datu Salibo, 300 families<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: small;\">&#8211; Mamasapano, 2,000 families<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: small;\">&#8211; Mother Kabuntalan, 4,467 families<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: small;\">&#8211; Pagalungan (assessment still ongoing)<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: small;\">&#8211; Northern Kabuntalan, 2,095 families<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: small;\">&#8211; Rajah Buayan, 755 families<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: small;\">&#8211; Sharif Saydona (assessment still ongoing)<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: small;\">&#8211; Sultan Sa Barongis, 1,514 families<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: small;\">The NDRRMC added that flooding worsened due to heavy concentration of water hyacinth at Tamontaka River and Rio Grande De Mindanao.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: small;\">Flood damage to agriculture was placed at P805,000 but relief officials said this could go higher.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: small;\">But despite flooding bridges and roads, the transport linkages are still passable while supply of electricity and water supply are normal.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>MANILA &#8212;
