Kailangan pareho talaga kaming mukha? ‘Di pwede maiba? Ikakamatay ko ba kung hindi ako si Julia (Why, are we supposed to outdo each other’s looks? Is it required for us to have the same face? Can’t there be a difference? Will it kill me if I am not Julia)?” she asked.

“Girl, mag-tahi ka na lang or mag-jogging ka. Masyado kang hater (just sew or jog. You are too much of a hater),” she added.

It was unknown who Dani was referring to in her tweets as she did not mention any name. However, she was not yet finished scoffing her critics as she posted another tweet saying, “Kung maka-bash kala mo life and death situation ‘pag hindi ko kamukha mga kapatid ko eh (They bash as if it is a life or death situation if I do not look like my siblings).”

“Can we all just mind our own business and be happy with our lives? You bashers should try it. It’s good for the soul,” she continued.

Dani is the eldest child of Marjorie Barretto with actor Kier Legaspi, while Julia is one of Marjorie’s daughters with ex-husband Dennis Padilla.

The two sisters are known to be very close to each other, which is evident on Julia’s tweet as she came to her sister’s defense after seeing Dani’s posts.

“How could anyone bash someone whose soul is as beautiful and as kind as yours?” Julia said.

“Don’t let them get to you. You’re beautiful let no one tell you otherwise,” she added.

Appreciating her sister’s gesture, Dani replied: “I love you.”

Aside from Julia, singer Moira Dela Torre and actress Janine Gutierrez also expressed support to Dani as both replied to her tweets yesterday.

Moira said, “I second this. Hi you two I miss you!” while Janine replied, “Girllllllllll your tweets are the best!!!!!!! I’m a fan.”

This was not the first time Dani became the subject of an online vitriol.

Just two months ago, Dani stood up against netizens who body-shamed her after she posted photos of her in swimsuit when she made a quick trip to Siargao.

“Grabe, 2018 na may body shaming pa din (Wow, it is already 2018 but body shaming still exists)? Why can’t you all just worry about your own body/weight? Masarap kumain, at hindi ako titigil dahil natatabaan kayo sa ‘kin (I love to eat, and I won’t stop just because you think I’m fat),” she said in a Tweet.

“Kung gusto niyo mag-diet, eh ‘di go. Bakit kailangan pati ako? Mag-di-diet ako ‘pag gusto ko (If you want to lose weight, then go. Why would you include me?
