Bautista. Bautista said he has already directed the General Services Department to order all the offices within the QC Hall compound to undertake a general cleaning of their premises or a clearing of their surroundings. Bautista added that since Quezon City has an almost three million population chances are high that dengue could affect many neighborhoods especially during rainy season. Dengue is one of the most common diseases in the country that poses a big threat to everyone’s health especially in a big and populous city like Quezon City. The mayor emphasized that since his first year in office, he was giving priority to health care of Quezon City residents. He said that it is important to be pro-active in campaigns and activities to place all health threats like dengue under control. He advised that in order to eradicate dengue carrying mosquitoes, general cleaning and maintaining cleanliness in all areas — not just in offices but also in every home — is very much needed. “There are easy ways that can be done to help prevent dengue such as removing stagnant water in containers, drums and other places where mosquitoes can reproduce,” he pointed out. He further added that residents do their own shares to the campaign through routine healthy practices like proper disposal of garbage, disinfecting furniture and maintaining cleanliness of surroundings.

MANILA, June 21 (PNA) — The Quezon City government on Saturday disclosed that it is intensifying its anti-dengue campaign to …

[95
1763,5712,3234
post-16227","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-news-ph","tag-dengue","tag-drive","tag-quezon-city","mauthors-philippines-news-agency
["GET
